Situation :

Preparation for exploring curug.
A few finding flaws that i found lately is if the Nike GPS are in a wet floor situation, the grip cant handdle wet condition that well, and can be a bit slippery. Such as wet pavements. So, In consideration- i have prepared this vibram arctic grip portable.

I will test the shoe with and with out on the extreme terrain of tracking curug on the 16th. We will walk across small rivers / creeks and standing on wet rocks as well along the road. I will try with out the vibram first and collect some data and if the shoe doesnt have grip at all along the way, i will use them vibra. Portable sole.

In the mean time ,
Test aesthetic with @vibram arctic grip x @bally on them @nike @tomsachs GPS.
My first impression if i use it, looks very technical and boost the shoes aesthetic on a certain level...
It gives the extra looks of rigidity and very outdoor oriented. The wire on the vibram arctic grip make it look more tech wear and futuristic and give a different silhouette from the original shoe.
I cant give any performance review yet with the vibram arctic grip...but, If i found more info of this shoes, will inform and share with you guys...

What do you think ?.... can u guys give your opinion on this look ?

Test for aesthetic :
Not to down grade Tom Sachs Design on his new general purpose shoes.
With the concept of it with laces system that he took as a consideration was a good move. Its what everyone would agree cause of its simplicity.
But what if we live in a different multiverse.
What if its an elastic laces For it to be easier use for locking down system for your feet instead of normal laces.
As a test i bought some random elastic laces for you guys decide if its a good thing ....
would you preffer normal laces ?
Would you preffer elastic laces ?
What color ? Blue or gay/white elastic ?

This post once again was inspired by master @marsyard_overshoe, Who is an inspirational person for me. He did it before me using elastic lacing system on his GPS...
I just want to amplify and see peoples reaction.
(he did motivate me before to test Tom Sachs Marsyard overshoes 200 days challange from his youtube video.)

Test for running (second time) - slide 01
My experience and review :
This is my second time running with this shoes, i wanted to test the cussioning of this shoe. I know that the midsole is not a running shoe material/ performance. But how comfortable is it ?... so i did find even though the midsole isnt performance , its surprisingly comfortable enough for a short run if u need to catch a train or a robber that just stole someones purse or something.

Test for outsole grip - slide 02
My experience and review:
I did test if there are sand on the pavement, will it have a slipping problem like if there are water on the pavement?... the answer is- if the surface is dry and have sand on it. result, its still very gripping.

Test for outsole bottom spikes - slide 03
My experience and review :
If you use this shoe on a dry grass surface, i think the spikes in the shoes are made for this..

Test for outsole grips if i change steps - slide 04
The traction on the shoe when u change steps on a dry pavement feels sticky / gripping. U can hear the rubber against the pavement.

Test aesthetic at night - slide 06
The shoe looks ok for walking at night. I would have though there is gimic on the shoes if ever u see at night. Such as 3m materials or something . But it didnt have any as i found out.

Findings :
After my second run with the shoes, i found if u use it often for running, my back heal is getting warm. I think this is cause from the loose collar from the shoes more loose instead of firm on the heel will give friction.

If i found more info of this shoes, will inform and share...
