REVIEW : Adidas Iniki...

Whats up iam.ran readers.

It has been a while since i do a product review. The last review i did was on ultraboost and nmd in 2016.
Well there i a new product line from Adidas just came out. If u have not hear it, then your probably from another planet. Its called " Iniki".
Its a product of Adidas Originals, the look of a casual sneakers and yet  it has a performance tech boost on the sole. I will be reviewing this trainers, comparing to pass similar line such as Ultra Boost and NMD's and i did test them too while i traveled cross country from Jakarta to New York  and back again for my street photography in land of liberty..

Lets discuss the basic more detail shall we.

Aesthetic look : 

starting with the shape.., i think Iniki's has this beautiful comfortable look.
aesthetically its a mix of vintage vibe (upper) and yet had a futuristic performance boost in it (bottom). Comparing to the past design such as NMD's and Ultra Boost, which both are very futuristic in tech ,production, materials and design, this trainers are more laid back casual in its look. 

Adidas did well in my opinion in blending the 2 genre ( futuristic X Casual ).
It caters to their followers of adidas fans such as the clobbers / terrace fans that love the  adidas city series looks and yet for the general sneakers head, this shoes worth the cop, on feet look  good,  for  daily rocking and restock.

Technology :

For technology, its a no brain'er for you guys Adidas lover and sneakers enthusiast that anything with boost tech mid sole, its good for you for performance. in my opinion i think Iniki's have very soft Boost like the NMDs compare to the Ultra Boost.
when i walk it feels more soft and more bounce ( its like less boost density then the ultra boost ) 

Materials :

As I said before, Iniki is slightly different then many boost Adidas products. its casual look brings the best of this shoes. Material wise are not prime knit technology such as the Ultra Boost or NMD's. This shoes have a nylon upper mix with nubuck on  certain area such as the toe, the heels and lace area. The three stripes are printed on the nylon part of the shoes. If you see the inside of the shoes, it had a mesh material for breath ability and comfort, and the tongue are very soft and loose.
On the sole, its rubber similar to the NMD's 

The Good :

For Summer Fashion and rocking up with less is more style, this shoes fits the profile perfectly. casual and very light shoes, I love the comfort of the sneakers... the mix design, material and the boost are a perfect combo. i don't know if Adidas will come out with all leather or other materials, but i can assume from pas experience Adidas will probably do them in the near future. I hope they don't tought,  cause this shoes are perfect as it is. 

The Bad : 

in my opinion this shoes will pass the time and become a classic for Adidas line in its design, but material wise it will get dirty easily. if your a neat sneakers /crispy clean look kind a guy, well u need gallons of crep protectors to safe this baby up !..
Another bad point i  rock this sneakers around New York and traveling, i notice the comfort level are at a high point but, too much comfort is a no no too sometimes... this shoes have no structure to keep your feet up. it just drape on your feet like a simple material, very loose and it needs a bit of structure. the shoes are less then Ultra Boost, no support structure.
for a guy like me that have arch foot, and not flat foot, its very loose, after 4 + more hours of walking around New York, i feel tired and the bottom of my feet kind a feel wide and have muscle spazz , not use too too free of a shoes... another thing i found bad is, cause the material are soft and thin, you should be very careful when ur walking and put your feet close on an escalator stairs. cause  of no structure just nylon, it can catch your shoes while the escalator does its scissors system when your on top of the escalator stairs.

Conclusion : 

Lately adidas has push their product really well and had perform world wide. The technology of boost is a major element in their success. With release date of adidas sneakers every 2 months or so, i think people are getting bored and cant follow the trend anymore, and yet it kind a ruined this beautiful sneakers and its mojo. 

 the shape and silhouette of the shoes are well design / aesthetically pleasing.  i would rank Iniki's as my second favorite from the 3 shoes i have review (1.Ultraboost , 3. NMDS). i dont think it pass Ultra boost in structure, cause that cage design are well thought out, but inikis are much much better then NMD. visual and comfort in my opinion. NMD was a good shoes, but then Adidas come out with everything , changing the looks and making it too mass product and ruin not only the shoes but the image as well. (as they always try to innovate, but sometimes over doing it can lead to ruining the image of the shoes and look over the simplicity and prestigue of the shoe itself. i hope they keep Iniki's originality and not change the look too much).

This article (iniki) in my opinion are a slept on shoes in the sneaker community. People are so into ultraboost and nmd in the past and now their bored of the product (specially NMD's) and sadly it kind over shadow it... This Iniki's  is the next best buy / must have.

Sudah lama saya tidak melakukan review produk, Kajian terakhir yang saya lakukan adalah tentang ultraboost dan nmd di tahun 2016. sekarang gue mau review produk keluaran baru dari adidas yang bernama " Iniki ". Jika Anda belum mendengarnya, Anda mungkin berasal dari planet lain or baru keluar dari goa umpetan anda. 

Produk asli Adidas yang satu ini penampilan sepatu kasual design upper dengan teknologi " Boost ".

Saya akan membahas dan membandingkannya dengan jalur yang mirip sama, seperti Ultra Boost dan NMD sebagai referensi. saya juga mengujinya saat saya melakukan perjalanan lintas negara dari Jakarta ke New York dan kembali lagi  ke jakarta selagi saya mengambil  Street photography di tanah patung Liberty.

Mari membahas pokok bahasan lebih detail.......

Tampilan estetika:

Dimulai dengan bentuk .., saya pikir Iniki's memiliki tampilan nyaman yang indah bentuknya. Secara estetika design yang terlihat tajam, merupakan perpaduan antara vintage vibe (upper sepatu ) dengan  futuristik technology performance di Sole sepatu ini.
Dibandingkan dengan desain masa lalu seperti NMD's dan Ultra Boost, yang keduanya sangat futuristik dalam bidang teknologi manufacturing, material dan desain, " Iniki's " ini lebih santai penampilanya dan lebih ke unsur originals, dari pada performance. 

Adidas melakukannya dengan baik menurut saya dalam memadukan 2 genre (futuristik X Casual) untuk melayani penggemar fans adidas  followers mereka yang mencintai product Originals. Seperti penggemar clobbers / terrace yang menyukai serial city series dan buat para sneaker collector OG, Hypebeast dan reseller. cocok sekali design ini  untuk yang suka memakai sepatunya + on feet photo, stock  + reselling.

Untuk teknologi:

 buat para pecinta Adidas  dan sneaker intusias sudah tau bahwa Boost technologinya Adidas adalah salah satu yang terbaik buat sepatu olahraga di era sekarang, jadi tidak perlu di petanyakan kecangihan teknologi ini. Menurut pendapat saya, Iniki's memiliki Boost yang sangat lembut seperti NMD dibandingkan dengan Ultra Boost selagi saya berjalan, terasa lebih soft dan lebih bouncy ( mnurut saya densitas foamnya iniki, lebih kurang padat dari pada ultra boost - yang menjadiakn sepatu ini lebih enak di pakai )

Untuk Bahan:

Seperti yang saya katakan sebelumnya, Iniki sedikit berbeda dari Ultra Boost dan NMD's, pendapat saya produck "Iniki's " adalah salah satu peningkatkan produk Adidas. Tampilan kasualnya membawa sepatu ini ke aestekita terbaik.

Bahan yang di pakai bukan teknologi rajutan  (Primeknit) seperti  ultraboost atau nmd. lebih di material campuran antara nylon di bagian upper dan dengan nubuck, di area toe dan area tumit. sangat soft di kaki ,dan ngak kerasa kayak pake sepatu sih..lebih persis dan enak dari pada primeknit menurut gue, karena kadang primeknit bisa gatel di daerah2 tertentu kaki.

 logo Tiga garis itu dicetak print di nilon dengan nama " iniki"  di sebelah sepatu dan di heel tab ada logo trefoil. di tongue sepatu ada brand adidas dengan logo trefoil yang mendunia di hampir  semua sepatunya. Jika Anda melihat bagian dalam sepatu, ada bahan jaring, menurut saya ini untuk breath-ability (tetap dingin) dan kenyamanan. Lidahnya sepatu sangat lembut dan longgar.

Yang Baik dari sepatu ini :

Untuk Summer Fashion dan dengan gaya relax, sepatu ini terlihat cocok buat semi formal atau pemakaian tiap hari, sepatu ini pas dengan profil sempurna menurut saya, sepatu ringan dan gaya kasual. Desain campuran material dan teknologi Boost adalah combo yang sempurna. 

Saya tidak tahu apakah Adidas akan keluar dengan material lain seperti kulit atau bahan lainnya, tapi saya bisa berasumsi dari pengalaman lalu, Adidas mungkin akan melakukannya dalam waktu dekat. Dan saya berharap mereka tidak mengubah2 seperti formula NMD. Sepatu ini sempurna seperti apa adanya. dan akan menjadi Future Classic bila mana tidak di ganti2 aneh2 lagi (salah satu sepatu yang akan di idam2 kan)

Yang buruk dari sepatu ini :

Menurut saya seperti tadi, sepatu ini akan menjadi klasik untuk garis Adidas di waktunya, tapi bahannya sangat mudah kotor dan nylonya sangat elastic dan bisa2 kedepanya robek kalo kuku kaki lo tajem dan jika kamu pecinta sepatu kets gaya rapih / bersih terlihat bagus, berarti Anda memerlukan galon pelindung crep protector untuk menjaga bayi ini. dan may be tidak untuk di pake setiap hari !. salah satu Titik buruk lainnya, saya menemui sepatu ini pas saya lagi photo2 di New York kemarin bepergian, saya perhatikan tingkat kenyamanan di bagian upper sangat loss, karena materialnya yang sangat simple dan tidak ada stuctur pendamping. buat orang yang seperti saya punya kaki yang  ada archnya dan tidak flat foot (kaki jeber) akan cape memakai sepatu ini kalo abis muter2 sekita 4/5 jam berjalan, meman sepatu ini tidak memiliki struktur untuk menjaga kaki. seperti seperti NMD's R1 PK. menurut saya akan lebih baik lagi bilamana ada sedikit strukture penopang seperti cage.tidak usah sedrastis ultra boost yang ada plastic element. tapi kali ada material kulit nubuck yang di design untuk mengeratkan sepatu di samping struktur kaki. karena material yang sangat soft, hati2 kalo naik excalator... kaki saya hampir terjepit pas escalator sudah mulai mencapai ke atas dan pas tangga mulai melipat menjadi rata kaki saya hampir kena jepit..

Kesimpulan:

Akhir-akhir ini adidas telah mendorong produk mereka dengan sangat baik dan telah tampil di seluruh dunia, Teknologi Boost merupakan elemen utama dalam kesuksesan mereka. Dengan tanggal rilis sepatu adidas setiap 2 bulan sekali keluar, saya pikir orang mulai bosan dan tidak bisa mengikuti tren lagi, namun ini semacam merusak cantik dan mojonya sepati ini.

 Bentuk dan siluet sepatu itu disain dengan baik / estetis. Saya akan memberi peringkat Iniki sebagai favorit kedua saya dari 3 sepatu yang saya review (1.Ultraboost - 3. NMDS). Saya tidak berpikir itu melewati Ultra Boost  karena, sepatu UltraBoost ini yang trmassuk namanya di design , form follow function. bukan cuma pure aestetika doang.  karena desain " cage " itu dipikirkan dengan baik. tapi " Iniki's " jauh lebih baik daripada NMD. Visual dan kenyamanan menurut saya ,NMD adalah sepatu yang bagus, tapi kemudian Adidas keluar dengan segal design NMD yang terlalu cepat dan merusak pasar, mengubah penampilan dan membuatnya terlalu massal dan merusak tidak hanya design sepatunya sendiri tapi juga image brandnya NMD sendiri. (Karena mereka selalu mencoba untuk berinovasi, tapi terkadang melakukannya bisa menyebabkan kerusakan pada citra sepatu dan melihat kesederhanaan dan prestise sepatu itu sendiri dan Saya harap mereka tetap menjaga keaslian Iniki dan tidak mengubah tampilan terlalu banyak).

Sepatu Iniki menurut saya adalah sepatu yang di panggil di kalangan komunitas  " Slept on sneaker " atua kata lainya underdog. artinya sepatu yang orang2 sekarang tidak liat, tapi nanti ngejar2... seperti release NMD OG color. Orang-orang begitu menyukai ultraboost dan nmd di masa lalu dan sekarang mereka bosan dengan produk (khususnya NMD's yang merusak pasarnya adidas sendiri menurut saya ) dan sayangnya sepatu ini lebih baik dari NMD, dan karena bayangannya NMD sudah mulai terlihat basi dan jelek. sepatu Iniki tidak terlihat. 

Menurut saya Iniki ini adalah pembelian terbaik berikutnya dan harus saya miliki....
