SneakerPeak balik lagi di Kemang Village, setelah beberapa tahun hiatus.
Bilamana kalian follog w IamRan, kalian sudah tau, saya sering sekali dokumentasikan acara SneakerPeak dari pertama mereka mulai sampai di tahap sepi dan di istirahatkan oleh organizerenya. Jujur, media social tidak terlihat acara ini di adakan lagi, saya tahunya dari temen di hari kamis dan dari situ saya  sangat penasaran untuk coba menghadirinya dan pengen dokumentasikan bagaimana vibenya setelah hiatus. apakah bakal seperti dulu dan effect bilamana event berhenti dan coba hidup kembali.

Seperti biasa, acara ini di adakan 4 hari (Kams s/d Minggu) di ground floor seperti Sneaker peak event yang dulu di dalam mall. Bedanya, kali ini acrea yang biasanya satu ground floor tertutupi oleh tenat tenan, kali ini sepertiga saja untuk acara kali ini.  yang bisa di bilang dari mata saya , agak sedih melihatnya , mereka down grade.Saya hadir di hari sabtu, kira-kira jam 1an saya hadir,  saya pikir , jam segitu mustinya  adalah jam  prime time yang bisa di bilang orang pada baru hadir di mall untuk cari maan atau melakukan activitas dan aman untuk lihat crowdnya. Pas saya datang, bisa di bilang agak sepi, area acara, ada beberapa couple saja atau orang  yang lagi jalan di mall menghadiri di acara ini. setelah saya mulai dokumentasi, cuacah tidak taunya hujan besar. dan kita tau, biasanya , kalau cuacah hujan agak menunda croud yang akan menghadiri acara.
Setelah hujan berhentu kira kira di jam 3/4an, baru bisa di bilang traffic mulai datang. saya bisa bilang banyak oranng berlalu lawlang di mall dan beberapa ke trigger untuk check event tersebut untuk mencuci mata dan juga ada yang membeli di booth tenant yang mengisi acara ini.Saya pas di sore sore  baru di kasih tau di acara ini juga tidak taunya acara sneakers. tidak taunya  ada Dj competisi untuk mengisi di hari Sabtu  oleh pioneer dan di selangi juga oleh lelang sneaker peak sepatu untuk meramaikan crowd yang hadir di acara.
buat saya acara ini yang dulunya sangat tinggi levelmya, terlihat sudah agak melempem. tetapi , harus di adakan, karena bisa di bilang ini adalah acara yang sangat pure buat sneakers enthusiast dan culturenya. Saya juga liat , di kali ini , ada thrifting dan  football jersey . jadi sudah tidak cuma reseller sepatu saja yang mengisi acara ini.

SneakerPeak is back at Kemang Village after a few years of hiatus.

If you follow me on IamRan, you already know that I've been documenting SneakerPeak events from their inception until they went quiet and were put on hiatus by the organizers. Honestly, I didn't see any mention of this event anymore on social media. I found out about it on Thursday from a friend, and I was curious to try it out and document the vibe after the hiatus. I wanted to see if it would be the same as before, and what the impact would be if the event stopped and then revived.

As usual, this four-day event (Thursday to Sunday) was held on the ground floor, just like the previous SneakerPeak event in the mall. The difference was that this time, the usual ground floor area was covered by tenants, but only a third of it was for this event. What I can say from my perspective is that it's a bit sad to see them downgrade. I was there on Saturday, around 1:00 PM. I thought that time should be prime time, where people would be arriving at the mall to find food or do activities, and it would be safe to see the crowd. When I arrived, it was pretty quiet in the event area, with only a few couples or people walking around the mall attending the event. After I started documenting, the weather unexpectedly started to rain heavily. And we know that usually, when it rains, it delays the crowd attending the event. After the rain stopped around 3:00 PM, traffic started to come in. I could tell that many people were passing by the mall, and some went to the trigger to check out the event to browse, and some were also buying from the tenant booths that were taking part in the event. I was just in the afternoon when I was told that this event was also a sneaker event. Unexpectedly, there was a DJ competition on Saturday by Pioneer, and a sneaker peak shoe auction was also held to enliven the crowd. For me, this event, which used to be so high-profile, seemed to have waned somewhat. However, it had to be held, as it was a truly genuine event for sneaker enthusiasts and their culture. I also noticed that this time, there was thrifting and football jerseys. So, it wasn't just shoe resellers who were participating in this event.
