QUESTION OF THE DAY ? : Does Everything Needs To Be Boosted ?

A big   "Q "- question , comes in to mind. " Does Everything Needs To Be Boosted ?"

i think as a sneaker head u know the term Boost from Adidas and what the capability that boost can achieve. in the back of every sneaker head thinks certain things should use boost technology. and as we grown to see, Adidas itself are catering that mindset of a people, old design sneakers + boost technology sole. - u can see on the Stan smith , the EQT , super star.

I'm gonna write and give my opinion towards this question......
My background. I'm a collector of Adidas Micropacer and i do love other sneakers too...,
i might not be an OG in the sneaker scene, but i do appreciate the value of vintage and history of each sneakers. i prefer wearing them as well, instead of stocking or reselling.
i did help to grew Yeezy and NMD in my country, even thought i don't work for Adidas, but the people of Adidas Indonesia had ask me on my opinion so i  give Adidas Indonesia my 2cent's and help them with my networking , knowledge and exposing them with my media platform.
But if u think I'm gonna be bias on my conclusion, i think u would be amaze on the turn out of this article.......

the background of Boost that i know :  has been grown rapidly in the market, its Adidas new technology in comfort and performance, It did grew from the Adidas performance line, and more and to a casual product such as the NMD - a line that blends the new technology with fashion - more style then performance base. with the growing demand, Adidas pushing the line to a wider scale instead of limited in exclusivity - even though they make it a certain number limit in production , but still in thousands , not limited like the old days  1/500 or 1/50s, they do make certain Boost collabs very exclusive, like the 1 / something... but the bigger scale everyone can use boost now.
in my opinion Adidas had over flow the bowl and now in my country everyone is ether reselling them, rocking them, and even don't want to wear them cause it looks cheep (everyone got them)...
as a fan of Adidas, i do have the UltraBoost ( Adidas Performance ), Energy boost adidas (Adidas performance), the  NMD R1 PK Colorway  ( Adidas Originals ) and i use to have the Yeezy  (adidas originals collabs with Kanye) that had the Boost Technology.

My Opinion and my conclusion, the boost comfort is Amazing. and it does help with performance. i did used and abuse my ultra boost 2 years straight each day and i agree with adidas vision toward the performance factor, u can check my article reviewing " Ultra Boost VS NMD ".
on the other hand, the grown number of design had grew too rapidly on the variety of the Adidas originals Boost Product, which at a certain point i think it ruins the authenticity + the branding of the Boost Technology itself.I remember people were waiting in front of the store just to cop them, but now their sitting on the shelves. i think the hype had burst and overpower the product, people don't see them as a a good product to have anymore cause knowing every 4 months they come out with a few design, people buy them for reselling and less for wearing.... and when i ask the re seller, they even had a hard time selling  the general release product.

Adidas slowly reshaping their old design and using boost to bring out their old product with a new twist,  i see it like a fridge + touch screen to get more with sales to the collectors of die hard Adidas fans. Ether the designer of Adidas testing the market once again, or just being lazy..... which in my opinion, both ways are just sad. cause knowing the culture now its ruining their own originality brand and kind a loosing its heritage.
yes u can say they are testing and trying to bring in new concept, but don't they know their own market  on what they like for the vintage?  good that Adidas had the  "Spezial " line to cater the vintage OG collectors, old school Adidas collectors don't care about  vintage shape sneakers with add on boost. they prefer authenticity in original boxes. i think with boost lets just stay futuristic with technology and  new shape and not add on to the vintage shape

May be its just me, but i was disappointed on Adidas for adding boost on everything.., cause it feels like they just got a new toy and try to show other kids that their toys are the best.a bit too childish for my taste.

i hope they don't ruin the history of micropacer with adding on boost !!!...
may be i'm turning old, but in my opinion u cant add a bumper sticker to a beautiful Lamborghini or Ferrari....
