Location : Lucy In the Sky
Saya diundang oleh Foot Locker ke acara Adidas x Foot Locker "Home Grown -Vol. 2". Acara ini diadakan di Lucy in the Sky SCBD. Acara ini merupakan aktivasi Adidas Superstar, sepatu ikonis dengan ujung shell yang selalu melekat dengan budaya tersebut. Home Grown -vol. 2 adalah pertunjukan kedua dalam pertarungan hip hop berkonsep keren ini. Di sana, mereka mengajak rapper dari berbagai kota untuk beradu dan dinilai oleh para senior di industri musik (Iwa K dan Tuan13) untuk mendapatkan hadiah.
Para tamu diundang untuk datang sekitar pukul 4 sore. Saya datang agak terlambat (sekitar pukul 5 sore) dan untungnya, acaranya belum dimulai, sudah ada orang yang mendaftar dan beberapa sudah nongkrong di area luar ruangan Lucy in the Sky. Saya melihat banyak influencer, penggemar sepatu kets, hip-hoper, fashionista berkumpul untuk mendukung acara ini. Sambil menunggu, kami bisa bersantai di lounge luar ruangan dan mendapatkan minuman serta makanan ringan. Ada lorong yang mereka buat untuk memajang spanduk asli Adidas, agar para hadirin dapat berfoto untuk media sosial mereka dengan gambar Duta Adidas yang ikonik. Saat hari berganti malam, semakin banyak orang yang datang. Kemudian pintu dibuka pukul 6 sore menuju area dalam ruangan Lucy in the Sky, kita bisa melihat pajangan Adidas Supers dengan tema yang bisa dilihat dan difoto oleh orang-orang.
jajaran superstar, tempat duduk VIP dengan logo detail drum barrel adidas & foot locker. Di tengah-tengah semuanya, ada panggung besar untuk para penampil bertarung.. Master of Ceremony memulai dan membuka acara, ada banyak orang berkumpul., untuk membuka acara ada rapper lokal naik panggung, kemudian pertarungan lokal dimulai. setiap penampilan membawakan 2 lagu. Saat selesai, Tuan 13 naik panggung dan membawa Iwa K dan Gading Martin, untuk menyanyikan lagu hip hop klasik dari masa lalu. Setelah itu, ada kucing-kucing muda (Poris) naik panggung dan tampil dan menarik perhatian penonton yang lebih muda.. Untuk mengakhiri malam ada DJ yang mengambil suasana untuk after party. secara keseluruhan itu adalah pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan saya melihat banyak orang mendukung dan senang mereka ambil bagian. selamat footlocker untuk acara yang sukses.

I was invited by Foot Locker to their event Adidas x Foot Locker " Home Grown -Vol 2 ".
It was held at Lucy in the Sky SCBD. An activation of Adidas Superstar, the iconic shoe with the shell toe that always connected to that culture. The Home Grown -vol 2 is the second admiration on this cool concept hip hop battle. where they take rappers from other city and made them battle agaaints each other and be judge by seniors in the industry ( Iwa K and Tuan13) to get rewards.
Guest were invited to come around 4 oclock. I came a bit late(around 5) and luckely, the event had not started yet ,there were people registering and some alreaday hang our at lucy in the sky outdoor area.
I see lots of influencers, sneaker enthusiasts, hip-hopers, fashionista all gather around to support this event.As we were waiting, we can chill at the outdoor lounge and got given drinks and snacks.
There is a hall way that they made to display Adidas original banners, for people who attend can take pictures for their social media with picture of iconic Adidas Ambassador. As day turning into night, there were more people comming in more and more. Then the door open at 6 to lucy in the sky indoor area, we can see there were display of Adidas Supers with the theme for people to take photos and see the superstar lineup, VIP seatings with drum barrels detail logo of adidas & foot locker. In the center of it all, there is a big stage for performers to battle.. The Master of Ceremony started and open the event, there were lots of people gathering., to open the show there were local rappers take the stage, then the battle of home grown starts. each performace sand 2 songs. As it is finish , Tuan 13 took the stage, he sang a few song and a few local talent took the stage as well with him. To top off, he bring out the legend Iwa K and ask Gading Martin as well to take part, to sing a classic hip hop song from back in the days. After that, theres this young cats (Poris) taking the stage and perform and drew the younger crowds.. To end the night theres DJ taking the vibe for after party. over all it was a nice experience and i see lot s of people support and happy they take part. congrats footlocker for the succesful event.
