----- WEEK 03 ASSESMENT - START -----

As i was watching the week 03 assessment tutorial, yesterday i kind a made this stupid selfie late at night. and it kind a hit me in my head, i think for week 03 assesment, it would be cool to have this concept Halo in peoples head for a portrait photo.it represent someone with good energy + im doing this in a holy month of Ramadhan. so it fits the concept well too.

Heres some late night 01.00 AM concept ideas / tesh shots, cause i cant sleep from watching the week 3 assesment video. my brain was in scared i dont know what to do.mode, Cause i think its not going to be an easy task to do, specially if you dont have a photography studio background.
I as a documenter who usually photograph outdoor or indoor event and not a studio photographer, This challenges is not easy. there are lots of factor X that i have to take care off. some exaple that goes into my mind, where shall i prepare my studio setting, how to make the lightings, what concept are you planning to do, who the models are for this assessment, will the models be able to perform and if they do become a model, is it paid or give something, post photography, how are u going to touch it up, and so on an so forth. my mind wonders around the world with worries.
luckely, today, there will be a family Iftar event. So I think i can wing this project and take advantage of that situation. I just have to make the studio DIY style real quick before the event in my studion / room, and ask my Nephew and niece to model. and that concept of halo on their head i think will look cool, represent their pure kids energy are good.

i think its a fun concept specially for the guest models that i will take picstures of.

like the tutorials, the lightings set up. 2 lights light the background and then the model will be infront of it. i will add another light to brighten my guests models face to show their face features.

but in the end it kind a kill the style i want to do in portrait photography.

Photographing an early teen girl is easyer then boys , they are very chatty and expressive , i got more expression from her then from the second model. shes very into Kpop and soft toys, with out her mother directing , she have the talent to be a model. she act like shes a Kpop star and telling me to photographer her more. and im the one that have to tell her thats enough ! haehaeheahhea

Heres are some raw photography from hei photoshoot session, i took all them photos with my samsung galaxy S20 Photographing an early teenager's is not as easy as girl teen. specially a boy that is introvert. their in that stage of not wanting to express themselves / shy, more reserve. so i have to find a way to let out his expression on what he likes. Luckely i told him to bring something that represent him and his intrest. He brought his Godzilla toy and i have to tell him to react like one. and then as he open up, he told me he likes basketball. Luckely i have a small basketball for my 10/10 free throw shooting, so i told him to hold the mini ball.
