Iam-ran di undang untuk menghadiri acara Vans yang bernama Thursday blast.

concept acara tersebut lebih ke mengundang teman-teman vans untuk  menunjukan concept instalasi vans collaborasi bersama local artist. acaranya sangat intim dan santai dimana mural / instalasi ini ada di pilar store Vans, yang berada di lantai 3 Grand Indonesia.Seniman yang terilih adalah  Dwiky KA, asal yogya . sebelom istalasi ini, dia sudah pernah collaborasi dengan vans di tahun 2021.

keren sih menurut gue artwork and instalasinya, gue bangga ada anak Indonesia bisa sampai di kenal or di anggap untuk bisa berkolaborasi. acaranya seru dan santai, tamu di tunjukin toko baru dan display line up, dari sepatu2 yang pro skateboard performance, area collabs south asia , ada MTE collection, womens line up, general release, you name it - they got it ! yang keren juga ngak cuma sepatu, area apparell and accessories keren dan lucu2 barangnya. yang menurut gue top it off...

ada baju official Vans Indonesia. Selagi berjalanya acara, ada Dj2 yang ngeset vibe acara dengan lagu2 asik hiphop. Tamu juga di sajikan refreshment moctail enak- enak dari "Karukku".  Ada silk screen process yang custom setiap pembelian dengan add on gambar dwiki, artist yang berkolaborasi yang paling lucu dan keren, Vans menyediakan  "Gulali ". parahnya nih, shapenya sepatu Vans dan tema2 gulali masa kita dulu ! parah deh attention to detail kalo team vans lagi bikin acara selalu. salah satu contekan buat other brand pasti. Karena setiap mereka bikin, selalu bagus dan ngk setengah setengah.so check out dokumentasi gue di acara ini

Iam-ran was invited to attend a Vans event called Thursday blast.

The concept of the event was more about inviting Vans friends to show the concept of a Vans collaboration installation with local artists. The event was very intimate and relaxed where this mural/installation was on the pillar of the Vans store, which is on the 3rd floor of Grand Indonesia. The artist chosen was Dwiky KA, from Yogya. Before this installation, he had collaborated with Vans in 2021.

I think the artwork and installation are cool, I'm proud that Indonesian children can be recognized or considered to be able to collaborate. the event was fun and relaxed, guests were shown the new shop and display line up, from pro skateboard performance shoes, South Asia collabs area, there was MTE collection, womens line up, general release, you name it - they got it! It's not just the shoes that are cool, the apparel and accessories area has cool and cute items. which in my opinion tops it off...

there are Vans Indonesia clothes. While the event was going on, there were DJs who set the vibe of the event with cool songs. Guests were also served a delicious refreshment mocktail from "Karukku". the funniest and coolest, Vans provides "Candy Candy". What's worse is the shape of Vans shoes and the cotton candy themes of our past! It's really bad to pay attention to detail when the Vans team is always holding events. one cheat sheet for other brands for sure.

I documented the process of how I illustrated. This is step by step, I sharpened my learning to draw illustration skills. You have seen my patch theme, which has the subject, BMX and skateboarding. Now I'll start again but back to the Tom Sachs theme. For my first design I followed the slogan "Artists are Athletes". If you want to see further step by step documentation, please check it out!

Saya dan team Ceramix Studio di undang  ke acara pembukaan New Balance Store di Senayan City. selalu bersyukur diundang ke acara. dan sebagai kontribusi terhadap budaya dan orang-orang yang mengundang saya, saya selalu berusaha mendokumentasikan adegan tersebut.

acaranya sangat pagi jam 10am, pas saya di sana, saya speechless karena sangat amat Ramai. store interiornya sangat bagus dan collesction sepatu yang di display atau apparel- apparelnya new balance bisa di bilang keren sih. dari lifestyle sampai performance ada .

di acara ini ada food and beverage tersedia buat tamu hadir, dan ada Dj juga yang membuat vibenya makin seru.ada Juga area photoshoot buat para tamu untuk mengcapture moment pembukaan ini.

acara pembukaan ini di bagi 2 session. sessi pertama lebiih formal pembukaan yang di hadiri sama regional New Balance. ini moment yang saya datangin sama team Ceramix Studio. Sesi kedua lebih ada acara tanya jawab dan raffle sepatu NB x WTAPS.

The Ceramix Studio team and I were invited to the New Balance Store opening event in Senayan City. always grateful to be invited to events. and as a contribution to the culture and people who invited me, I always try to document the scene.

The event was very early at 10am, when I was there, I was speechless because it was very busy. The store interior is very nice and the collection of shoes on display or the New Balance apparel can be said to be cool. from lifestyle to performance there.

At this event there is food and beverage available for guests attending, and there is also a DJ who makes the vibe even more exciting. There is also a photoshoot area for guests to capture the opening moment.

This opening event was divided into 2 sessions. The first session was a more formal opening which was attended by the New Balance region. This is the moment I attended with the Ceramix Studio team. The second session included a question and answer session and an NB x WTAPS shoe raffle

Continuing the Patch theme, I will change the design of yesterday's BMX patch, with a skateboard patch treatment, where the font placement is changed. In my opinion, it is more structural because the previous design was more organic and the writing had a more informal structure in the design.

HEHEHEHHE, Im a Youtuber!.

 My friends and I started a YouTube carrier with the Ceramix Studio platform, as a brand.

The Ceramix team consists of Dimas Indro, Pandu Polo, me and videographer Okky.

we will discuss the sneaker scene in Indonesia, beakdown collections and interview collectors, discuss related culture and of course discuss sneakers!

You know I tried and failed to release my YouTube project in early 2000, but now we have finally made our dream come true. For this first episode, we start with an introduction to who we are and light conversation, while laughing. 

We will have a lot of episodes to broadcast, we have already shot 4 episodes and have scheduled to shoot 3 episodes with brands and collectors.

Continue the Patch concept, this time im taking the skateboard theme as the subject. you guys know Nike is heavy on skateboard, the SB line has a big history in Nike archive collabs untill now.

I did skateboard when i was young and true out my teen, every beginner always wish they olly high , can kick flip and skate. that s why i made this specifict design as a patch of honor !

 Anda mungkin tahu bahwa akhir-akhir ini saya suka mengasah keterampilan ilustrator saya. 

sebagai orang yang kreatif, saya mencoba untuk menciptakan sesuatu yang menarik, dan saya percaya sebagaimana saya melihat trennya, patch adalah sesuatu yang keren untuk dijadikan oleh-oleh atau gimmick, karena Anda dapat menambahkannya ke dalam pakaian atau aksesoris Anda. saya juga liat artist kesukaan saya Tom Sachs sering sekali bikin Patch sebagai accessories yang di jual di store dia. 

setiap dia ada movement tertentu, dia bikin patch.

Akhir-akhir ini saya melihat tren BMX kembali hadir di dunia sebagai gerakan bawah tanah, mereka berkendara di negaranya sendiri antar mobil. Nike memang mendorong Nigel Silvestre sebagai KOL. dia juga membuat konten bagus untuk merek swoosh di halaman youtube-nya. Dengan inspirasi itu dan saya menyukai video Nigel, saya mengambil karya seni saya berikutnya dengan konsep BMX. 

saya akan mencoba mendesain Patch sebagai basis konsep. terima kasih khusus untuk Lucky, teman lamaku yang mengendarai BMX dan seorang chef terkenal yang keren. dia membantu saya memberikan terminologi dan beberapa gimik BMX

You probably know that lately i love sharping my illustrator skills. 

as im a creative person, i try to create something intresting, and i believe as well as i see the trend, patch is something cool to get as a souvenir or gimmick, cause you can add them to your apparell or accessories. I also see that my favorite artist, Tom Sachs, often makes patches as accessories that are sold in his store. Every time he has a certain movement, he makes a patch.

 lately i see the trend of BMX is coming back in the world as an underground movement, they ride in their own country between cars.Nike do push Nigel Silvestre as the KOL. he does good content too for the swoosh brand in his youtube page.

with that inspiration and me liking Nigels video, i take my next artwork  with the BMX concept. 

i will try design Patches as a concept base . special thanks to Lucky, my old friend who ride BMX and a well known cool chef. he help me give termiinology and some BMX gimics

Seperti yang kalian tahu, aku selalu bersyukur diundang ke acara. dan sebagai kontribusi terhadap budaya dan orang-orang yang mengundang saya, saya selalu berusaha mendokumentasikan adegan tersebut. Tien, seorang wanita yang sangat cantik dan seorang teman baik mengundang saya ke proyek terbarunya. yaitu Clarks. seperti yang kalian tahu jika mengikuti IamRan. dia memegang New Balance. merek beberapa waktu lalu. 

Acaranya jam 14.00 s/d 16.00, untuk undangan dan setelah itu terbuka untuk umum. diadakan di Kota Kasablanka, sebuah mall di Jakarta Selatan. seperti yang saya lihat, pembukaan tokonya bagus, orang-orang mendukung mereknya, dan Tean selalu baik kepada orang-orang, jadi orang-orang tidak mau mendukung usaha barunya.

Saya melihat banyak influencer, mulai dari fashion, hingga sneakers, semuanya ada di sana. Saya melihat Tien melakukan yang terbaik untuk mendidik para pendatang dan menunjukkan tata letak dan bagian baru dari toko tersebut. Dia juga memperkenalkan kepada kami siluetnya, bahan-bahannya, dan informasinya yang membuat penonton berkata "wow!". setelah perkenalan dan tanya jawab, para undangan disuguhi makanan dan minuman yang enak, dan ada White Shoes dan rombongan pasangan yang sedang melakukan DJ set mereka. 

itu pemandangan yang menyenangkan untuk dilihat! dan menurutku toko baru ini akan menyentuh hati banyak orang

As you guys know, im always grateful  to be invited to events. and as a contibution to the culture and the people who invited me , i always try to document the scene. Tien, a very lovely lady and a good friend invite me to her lates project. which is Clarks. as you guys know if you follow IamRan. she was holding New Balance. brand a while back. 

the Event is at 2pm till 4, for the invitation and after that  its open for public. it was held in Kota Kasablanka, a mall in south Jakarta. as i see the store opening were good, where people support the brand , and Tean is always nice to people, so people dont hazitate to support her new ventures.

i see alot of inluencers, from fashion, to sneakers, are all up in there. i see Tien did her best to educate the comers and show the new layout  and sections of the store.she introduce to us as well the silhouette , their materials and information that makes the crowd goes "wow! ". after the introductions and questionairs, the invitation were serve with good food and drinks, and there were White shoes and the couples company doing their DJ set. 

it was a pleasant  sight to see ! and i think this new store will touch peoples heart.

Saya diundang untuk menghadiri kolaborasi Sepatu Compass dengan Darbotz

seperti yang kalian tahu mereka merilisnya di USS minggu lalu. tapi untuk drop kali ini, mereka mempunyai tampilan yang berbeda dan sangat limited.

acaranya sendiri adalah privet dimana teman dan keluarga Compass diundang untuk merasakan kolaborasi Artisan dari sudut pandang Seni. acara tersebut diadakan di gedung modular Sepatu Compass di Hutan Kota. Tamu harus mendaftar untuk menghadiri acara tersebut. ketika saya masuk, ada banyak orang yang menikmati momen itu, ada banyak makanan, minuman, minuman beralkohol, dan hidangan penutup. Sebagai pembuka acara Aji Handoko (gonjel) dan Darbotz, orang-orang yang mewujudkannya diperkenalkan.  Saat pembukaan sudah, area interaksi di buka.  kita bisa liat ada bola2 dengan karakter Monsternya darbotz ada di lapangan , dari size medium dan besar. VIP diizinkan membeli sepatu dan Jersey, dan semua orang bersenang-senang!

Catatan : maaf jika beberapa fotonya kurang bagus, kamera saya mengalami masalah sensor dan baru tau pas lagi upload ke computer, beberapa file mengalami kesalahan. untungnya sebagian besar dari mereka baik-baik saja.

selamat kepada 2 kreatif, Aji dan Darbotz atas kolaborasinya. menurut saya produknya sangat detail dan tampak luar biasa.

  I was Invited to attend Sepatu Compass collaboration with Darbotz

as you guys know they did release at USS last week. but for this drop , they had a different look and had limited release.

the event itself is privet where friend and family of Compass were invited to experience the Artisan  collaboration from the view of Art perspective. the event was held in the Sepatu Compass modular building at Urban Forest. Guest had to register to attend the event. as i enter there were lot of people enjoying the moment, there were lots of food, drinks , spirits and dessert. As the event start Aji Handoko ( gonjel) and Darbotz , the people that make it happend were introduce. 

As the rope drop, the interaction area were open . you can see the ballon ball with Monster, character that were develop by the artist Darbotz were there , from medium to big size. i see as well VIP were allowed to buy the shoes and Jersey, and everyone were having fun !

Note :  sorry if some of them photos are not as good, my camera had some sensor problem, i notice it while i upoaded it to the computer, somehow some of the files have errors. luckely most of them are still ok.

congrats to the the 2 creative, Aji and Darbotz for their collaboration. i think the product are well detailed and looks amazing.
