 You guys know I've been testing them tomsachs GPS. Im doing a comparison agains a local brand to see what the local shoe scene is like, and see if their up to par.

(Im putting GPs as the baseline)
This month, I've been weartesting @sepatucompass velocity. Breaking it in and putting miles on them shoes.

Surprisingly, the shoe has a lot of good points. Not only does it have a good aesthetic to it, but it's not a bad shoe if you're looking for the type that is wide foot. This shoe is locally made. It's a new shoe silouete from sepatu compass.

Some findings
- I've used this shoe true out the week. From using it to do formal attires to casual look. I think the shoe silhouette is simple and yet modern . It's a good shoe to have in your lineup for your day to day activities. Just like the GPS nike Tom sachs, It's for general-purpose shoes that are stylish.
- i did put a mile to it. I'm mostly running at the gym and testing its sturdy /firmness on feet while i do weight training / cardio. The good thing i found is that the shoe has a strong carbon plate on the midsole. It keeps the shoe firm with no flaxing. It reminds me of adidas torsion technology. Another finding that is good, the midsole fuel impact cussioning is really good for running. It's soft and yet firm enough while my feet hit the ground when i run and give energy back to propelled me forward. For an everyday general purpose lifestyle shoes, they do design it well aestheticly with a bit of function. Of course, you will not use this for a marathon. But 5k to 7k max , you feet still be ok. Other than that, it becomes too hot on certain area. some fault that i found on the shoe is still the heel. I still need to break it in and becomes more comfortable, so it doesn't rub on my skin.the shoe is not for performance purposes, where it is supposed to be feather light. This shoe have a bit of weight to it just like a normal sneakers.

I will further dig in and test the shoe for durability and comfort. If i found more, i will let u know.

Iam.Ran di undang untuk datang keacara Air Max Day yang di host oleh Our Daily Dose.

Acara ini di adakan di daerah senayan dimana ODD take over Kopi Nako dan membuat tempat itu sebagai daerah Happy Air Max Day. cocok sekali karena Nike sedang mendorong movement Frash Air. acara di mulai jam 3siang, tamu hadir di kumpulkan dulu di veranda dan setelah itu di ajak ke level dua dimana ada Work shop yang di adakan oleh ODD dengan KickyouButt.Project.concept activationnya sangat lucu. membuat object dengan daur ulang putung rokok. banyak orang ikut serta berpartisipasi di acara ini karena bukan cuma dapet barang yang kita buat , dapet gift juga recycle lace lock dan tumbler yang bertema Air Max Day. selagi kita sibuk , ada beberapa Dj main untuk membuat vibe acara makin seru dan fun. 

saya banga dengan ODD. dimana mereka brand local yang sudah berlevel international. dan jor joran untuk membuat acara Air Max day sangat pol!. mengambil satu coffe shop, di dandanin ala Nike air Max day dan acara sangat seru please check dokumentasi saya !

Iam.Ran was invited to attend Air Max Day which was hosted by Our Daily Dose.

This event was held in the Senayan area where ODD took over Kopi Nako and made that place the Happy Air Max Day area. perfect fit since Nike is pushing the Frash Air movement and recycle. 

the event starts at 3pm, guests who attend are gathered first at the outdoor pier and after were all ready, we are all invited to level two where there is a work shop held by ODD with KickyouButt.Project.

The concept activation is quite  funny i think. make objects with recycled cigarette butts. as Frash air is the theme and recycle smoking cigarette but i think works well, 

 many people took part in this event because the activation is fun and hands on .not only  you got the goods we made, they also gifts us  recycle lacelocks and tumblers with the theme of Air Max Day. while we are busy, there are several DJs playing to make the vibe of the event even more exciting + fun.

I'm proud of ODD. where they are local brands that have international level. and bring out the big guns to make the Air Max day event very fully emerse for the people who came with their own budget !. 

taking  a coffee shop, dress up for Nike air Max day is not an easy joob. and the event was exciting and interactive.

Iam.Ran di undang oleh Air Max Community Indonesia untuk hadirin JD sport Activation of Air Max Day.JD sport membikin acara tahun ini dua hari untuk merayakannya (25 + 26.03).
banyak sekali orang dateng untuk check acara ini. dari pengunjung mall yang penasaran pengen ikut serta , para VIP client JD sport dan Guest invitation  dan para enthusias sneaker collector.  Air Max Community mengadakan Display Air Max dan di sediakan wall of shoes, jadi para orang yang datang bisa di edukasikan sepatu nike tersebut . dari mata saya , banyak orang pengen photo di dinding tersebut karena menurut mereka displaynya sangat bagus dan collection anak2 lokal yang cinta dengan sepatu air max mendisplaykan collection mereka.

Di tengah Lobby Mall Puri Indah ada stage besar dimana activitas Air Max Day berjalan. 

dari collector sepatu senior dan kepala communitas Air Max Communitas indonesia , sampai team Nike  (EKIN) hadir untuk mengedukasikan masyarakat mengenai sneakers Nike Air Max dan technologynya. di tengah acara ada juga activity belajar ngeDj dan ada penyanyi Rap dan RNB singer mengisi vibe acara. JD juga mengadakan area interaksi virtual dimana ada Virtual Reality area dan customer yang hadir bisa ikut serta main .

Acara sangat seru dan sangat megah dan edukative untuk mengangkat brand ke orang-orang.

Iam.Ran was invited by Air Max Community Indonesia to attend JD sport Activation of Air Max Day. JD sport made this year's event a two days event to celebrate it (25 + 26.03).

Lots of people come to check this event. from mall visitors who are curious and wants to participate, VIP clients of JD sport and Guest invitations and enthusiastic sneaker collectors all join to have fun and check the event out. Air Max Community held an Air Max Display and provided a wall of shoes for people that like shoes can admire it, and not only that  people who came could be educated on Nike shoes and what air max is. From my point of view, many people want to take pictures on the wall because according to them the display is very good and a collection of local who love Air Max shoes are displaying their collection there.

In the middle of Puri Indah Mall Lobby there is a big stage where Air Max Day activities take place.

from senior shoe collector . One of the Head of the Air Max Community Indonesia, Nike (EKIN)  present  and educate the public  mass about Nike Air Max sneakers and their technology. 

In the between of the event there was also a DJ activity by Pioneer that teach people to DJ. Another activity were  music involve there there is a Rap  who rap and another singers RNB who sings to the crowd, filling in the vibe of the event. JD also held a virtual interaction area where there was a Virtual Reality area and customers who were present could play along.

The event is very exciting and very grand and educative to raise the brand to people.

Acara sangat meriah dan design toko sangat bagus. dimana ini toko ke 8 yang sudah di buka oleh Foot Locker di indonesia.

Toko di Buka dengan ceremoni memasukan bola basket ceremoni jam 10 dan untuk para tamu2 di undang jam 4 sore. acara di isi dengan banyak activity yang seru. Dari Tatto Hena buat cewek2 yang datang dengan gratis. Buat cowok-cowok di sediakan memotong Rambut oleh Nick the Barber dengan gratis, dan  buat semua yang hadir bisa bersih2 sepatu dari  service Crep Protect. selama acara Foot Locker juga menyiapkan Music live dari penyanyi - penyanyi muda dan membuat suasana seru dan fun. Banyak sekali orang hadir dari kalangan pecinta sneakers dan VIP Foot Locker.

Iam.Ran was invited to document the opening of FootLocker at Pacific Place Mall.

The event was very lively and the store design was very good. this is their 8th store that has been opened by Foot Locker in Indonesia.

The shop was opened with a ceremony to dunk the basketball ceremony at 10 and guests and VIP were invited at 4 pm. The event is filled with lots of fun activities, From Hena Tattoos for girls who come for free. For boys, Nick the Barber provides a haircut for free too, and all who attend and love sneakers can clean shoes from the Crep Protect service too for free. during the Foot Locker event, they also prepared live music from young singers and made the atmosphere exciting and fun to cerenate the guest. 

Lots of people attended from among lovers of sneakers and VIP Foot Locker and had a great time .

 thanks for the invitation. the event is very exciting and satisfying.

Running 40 minutes , incline 1.5 speed 8.5 / incline 8.5 speed 5
Squat lift 60kg x 25 - 3 set
Sit up 40kg x 30 - 3 set
Hand touch between knee 20 times - 3 sets
Biceps pull 30kg x 30- 3 set
Shoulders pull 40kg x 30 - 3 set

Hand touch between knee 20 times - 3 sets
Chest press 30kg x 25 - 3 set

phase dua saya sekarang melanjutkan  memperdalam pelajaran untuk Color di Illustrator.

ini adalah beberapa sketsa warna 2 yang saya bikin

Followers of Iam.Ran know that I often post sketches of the Tom Sachs x Nike collaboration shoes.

phase two I'm now continuing to deepen the lesson for Color in Illustrator.

these are some of the 2 color sketches that I made

Concept 01 - all black

I choose this concept cause from my experience working in retail. All black shoes is an easy sales in my country,

If the silouete  is good.

Concept 02 - bomber jacket

I choose this color blocking cause i think the color army green and bomber jacket material would be good for the upper and add nubuck on the toe and lace area would be fire. The orange  would pop out from the base upper color and fit the concept  of inner of bomber jacket. I choose a white mid sole and a gum bottom cause it just suit that sneaker look.

Concept 03

Concept 03 - mix

I was mixing concept 01 and concept 02. I think the color scheme look hard and feels like them designer / sacai color code.
