tema Nike skateboarding saya jarang di bahas, dan saya pikir2 ini bisa jadi illustrator yang bisa di bilang seru untuk di gambar.

Kali ini adalah karakter ketiga , Nama " Tony ".

dia sedang menguji sepatu dan skateboard untuk traction dan stabilitas kaki di atas skateboard dengan gaya standing goofy.

PART  01 from 3 series illustration

Continuing the illustrator's design with a sneaker theme. This time I continued the inspiration I got from the post card that Aaron Henkins sent to me, with a picture of the Cycloide Piazza. 

I rarely discuss the Nike skateboarding theme, and I thought this could be something Illustrator could say would be fun to draw.

This time it is the third character, Name "Tony".

he is testing shoes and skateboards for traction and foot stability on the skateboard in a standing goofy style.

Insipirasi mulai dari Postcard ini, dengan adanya  gambar skate park, akhirnya saya terinspirasi dan pengen mengambar character skater dan skatepark ini.

sekedar background, Skate park ini di dirikan untuk menjadi monument merayakan Paris Olympic.

artist yang mendirikan bernama Raphael Zarka, bilamana kalian ada di Paris, bisa daeng ke center of pompidue. itu dimana skate park/ skulpture ini berdiri. di buka buat public. 

artist ini melihat skate boarding adalah culture yang positive dan bisa mebawa orang ngumpul dan berinteraksi. dia mencoba menyatukan skateboarding dan architecture untuk mencapture movement.

Aaron Henkins selagi di sana kirim postcard ini dengan tulisan   im here and i just want to share !.

dengan niat kebaikan dan selalu menginspirasikan , akhirnya saya bikin illustration dari perspective saya. Saya sendiri belom pernah ke sana, tetapi saya bisa memvisualisasikan kira kira designnya seperti apa, dan bisa juga liat di google buat refference.

The inspiration started from this postcard, with a picture of a skate park, I finally got inspired and wanted to draw character skater and skatepark.

Just a background, this skate park was founded to be a monument to celebrate the Paris Olympics.

The artist who build it is Raphael Zarka, if you are in Paris, you can come to the Center of Pompidue, that's where this skate park/sculpture stands and its opened to the public pro and amature skater. 

This artist sees that skate boarding is a positive culture and can bring people together and interact. he tries to unite skateboarding and architecture to capture movement.

Aaron Henkins was there , and hes nice enough to sent this postcard with the words 

im here and i just wanted to share!.

With good intentions and always inspiring, I finally made an illustration from my perspective. I've never been there myself, but I can visualize what the design looks like, and can also see it on Google for reference

Sebagai Orang Indonesia, dan di era modern ini , mendapatkan postcard itu agak jarang dan bisa di bilang udah ngak ada. Punah culture mengirim postcard. kalo di bilang, keren ngak ?. menurut saya sangat. memang bisa di bilang ngapain sih, kan sudah ada email. menurut saya, culture analogue seperti kirim box surprise, postcard dan surat / Surat cinta yang bener di tulis lebih berharga.

Bisa di lihat Aaron orangnya baik dan cool. selagi dia pergi keluar kota dan lagi di area skate park tersebut, dia tulis di postcard dan kirim ke saya. dengan adanya pemikiran seperti itu , saya sangat berterima kasih dan sangat inspirational.

As an Indonesian, and in this modern era, getting postcards is quite rare and can be said to be non-existent. Extinct culture of sending postcards. If you say so, is it cool or not? I think very much. You could say what are you doing? There's already an email. In my opinion, culture analogues such as sending surprise boxes, postcards and letters/love letters that are properly written are more valuable.

You can see that Aaron is a kind and cool person. while he was out of town and at the skate park area, he wrote it on a postcard and sent it to me. With thoughts like that, I am very grateful and very inspirational.

Selagi saya membereskan photo - photo lama, saya menemukan selagi saya sedang di dalam acara Fixed gear Art. satu malam dimana ara riders Fixed gear membuat art di area - area tertentu buat mengexpresikan culture Fixed gear. beberapa memasang artwork mereka dengan lem paste, beberapa sticker bom dan beberapa membuat graffiti juga. saya membuat stancil art design , gambar sepedah fixed gear dengan  blakang ban di isikan hati !

acaranya sangat seru , cross culture art dan fixed gear menurut saya sangat creative.

While I was cleaning up old photos, I found it while I was at the Fixed Gear Art event. one night where Fixed gear riders made art in certain areas to express Fixed gear culture. some put up their artwork with glue paste, some bomb stickers and some make graffiti too. I made a stancil art design, a picture of a fixed gear bicycle with a heart filled in on the back of the tire!

the event was very exciting, in my opinion cross culture art and fixed gear were very creative.

Melanjutkan artikel Support Store lokal, kali ini saya mendokumentasikan toko yang baru pindah dan membikin toko baru di mall laiin. kalian sudah tau nama brand seek, yang dulunya berada di Pacific place. sekarang mereka melebarkan sayap dan me rebrand bentuk store mereka ke lebih level high end. ngak cuma barang barang mereka sangat keren, design tokonya juga berubah menjadi lebih besar, megah,  terbuka ,  edgy design. tidak aseperti toko jualan sepatu biasanya yang rak sepatu sebagai main view.

saya kenal Bro Yudhi pas saya membangung invincible, karena toko seek dulu di Pacific Place seperti yang saya infokan tadi dan setelah itu kita keep contact as friends. pas pembukaan saya tidak bisa hadir, tapi selagi saya sekarang ada waktu , saya bisa dokumentasikan untuk tertulis di history.

Toko yang baru ini ada di Plasa Senayan lantain 3 , deket entrence Metro. pas saya datang banyak client pada di dalam toko sedang berinteraksi bersama product untuk beli , dan sedang di bantu sama Assisten store yag baik dan membantu..

Seek memegang banyak brand  international , dan local coming up brand juga.

dari brand sepatu seperti Nike, Asics, Adidas , suicoke, wonder and many more, they have good apparell brand. like Dickies, Carhartt WIP, Adidas , Berwin & the heartbreakers, drunken dad, gramicci, lost management city this is never that, and banyak lagi  dan local brand juga keren keren seperti orbit gear, deva state , pleasures.banyak juga accessories seperti tas, cleaning kit, socks, parfume, vynil toys dan accessories - accessories lain.

menurut gue tokonya keren dan salah satu toko yang harus di datengin untuk check barang - barang apa yang baru, karena mereka sangtat update .

Continuing the local Store Support article, this time I am documenting a shop that has just moved and created a new shop in another mall. You already know the name of the Seek brand, which used to be in Pacific Place. Now they are spreading their wings and rebranding their store to a more high end level. Not only are their goods very cool, the shop design has also changed to a bigger, grander, more open, edgy design. unlike shoe shops which usually have shoe racks as the main view.

I knew Bro Yudhi when I built Invincible, because the Seek shop was at Pacific Place as I mentioned earlier and after that we kept in contact as friends. At the opening I couldn't attend, but while I have time, I can document it to be written in history.

This new shop is on Plasa Senayan, 3rd floor, near the Metro entrance. When I arrived, there were many clients inside the shop who were interacting with products to buy, and were being helped by the store assistant who was kind and helpful...

Seek holds many international brands, and local upcoming brands too.

from shoe brands such as Nike, Asics, Adidas, Suicoke, Wonder and many more, they have good apparel brands. like Dickies, Carhartt WIP, Adidas, Berwin & the heartbreakers, drunken dad, gramicci, lost management city this is never that, and many more and local brands are also cool like orbit gear, deva state, pleasures. There are also many accessories such as bags, cleaning kit, socks, perfume, vinyl toys and other accessories.

I think the shop is cool and one of the shops you have to go to to check out what's new, because they are very updated.

Pada akhir tahun 2008 saya terlibat dalam fixed gear hingga akhir tahun 2012. saya selalu bawa kamera dan photo2 culture fixedgear,  saat yang menyenangkan dalam sejarah saya, bertemu orang-orang menarik di sepanjang jalan dan bersenang-senang setiap kali saya berkendara.

A little more about me outside the sneaker community.

 One of my hobbies outside of sneakers, I used to like riding fixed gear around Jakarta with friends and learning about the culture.

In late 2008 I got involved in fixed gear until the end of 2012. It was a fun time in my history line, meeting interesting people along the way and had a good time each time I rode.

Sebagai seorang blogger, kita memang mengabadikan momen dan menuangkan pemikiran kita tentang kreativitas, perasaan, dan opini terhadap hal-hal tertentu yang ada di kepala kita, layaknya seperti buku diary. ketika aku melihat ke belakang dan membuka buku harianku dari tahun 2006 dan seterusnya, aku melihat betapa kreatifnya aku dan pemikiran murni tentang banyak hal, Untunglah aku melakukannya, untuk menangkap pemikiran dan ide, sehingga aku dapat melihat kembali ke dalamnya dan tidak hanya melihat bagaimana saya berpikir dibandingkan dengan sekarang. beberapa ide lama dapat membantu Anda menginspirasi untuk terus melakukan lebih banyak ide dan berbagi lebih banyak lagi

I started this post with a story, as i was cleaning my room from my new chapter in life,  i found books of toughts from my past.

As a blogger, we do capture moment and give our thoughts on creativy, feelings and opinion  on certain things that are in our head, just like diary book. when i look back and open my diary from 2006 and onwards, i see how creative i was and  pure toughts on lots of things, Its such a good thing  i did them, to  capture  thought and idea, so i can look back into it and not only  see how i think compare to now days. some of the old idea can help you inspire to continue do more ideas and share more though

in my past life, i was furniture designer , you can see lots of crazy ideas of furniture, i was intrested  in music, illustrator and art too..

If you see the story on iam-ran's Instagram, I'm focusing on making marathon/running themed illustrator sketches lately. I started because I had free time and it was better for me to sharpen my skills and do something positive while i have that.  

The concept / theme that captured me is the culture of running.  As I observed, it's like culture or religion, where everyone has many differences in their back ground , shape  and sizes, age,  in how they do running , what they wear and how they vision running and experience.what combine that mass  are,  they focus in one direction towards one goal.

Saya diundang untuk menghadiri acara Vans yang diadakan di toko Atmos Pondok Indah 2.

Seperti yang selalu saya simpulkan, Vans selalu membuat event yang sangat bagus, berkelas, megah, kali ini mereka mengadakan event South East Asia Tour bersama Mr Sabotage yang kali ini berkolaborasi. dan yang gilanya adalah, ini bukan sekedar kolaborasi sepatu, tapi keseluruhan tampilannya pas!   

koleksi lengkap dari atas ke bawah. (topi/kemeja luar/T-shirt/kemeja Hawaii, celana panjang/celana pendek/kaus kaki/sandal dan sepatu)

Saya datang agak terlambat karena harus menghadiri rapat dan ketika sampai, saya tidak tahu kalau acara baru saja dimulai.Acaranya sangat ramai dan terlihat seru, dimana kita bisa bercengkerama/meet & sapa bersama Mark Ong dan melihat tampilan koleksi hasil kolaborasi.  Para tamu disuguhi minuman di tengah toko, bar terbuka, disponsori oleh jameson. ada Dj yang mengatur mood agar tamu yang datang bisa berbaur dan nyaman.  Para tamu dapat mencoba pakaian dari koleksinya. Ada juga area di mana Anda dapat menyesuaikan sepatu yang tersedia pada hari itu. orang yang membeli sepatu dapat menambahkan desain eyelit SBTG, aluminium yang dipres dengan tangan ke sepatu oleh tim SBTG. Saya melihat banyak pendukung/penggemar SBTG, pecinta + kolektor sneaker, serta pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam industri datang dan memberikan dukungan untuk merayakan acara tersebut. Semakin sore menuju malam, orang-orang semakin sibuk dan orang-orang membeli barang, meminta tanda tangan pada sepatu dan foto bersama dan saya melihat Mark Ong dengan senang hati menyenangkan penonton yang datang untuk kolaborasinya dengan Vans.

Menurutku itu keren dan memiliki Vibe yang keren. Saya selalu terkagum-kagum dengan Vans Indonesia, mereka selalu membuat acara-acara yang tidak sekedar gimmick/palsu untuk foto, Orang-orang yang pernah melihat atau datang ke acara Vans, selalu terkagum-kagum dan ingin selalu ada untuk mendukung dan melihat perkembangannya dan apa saja. mereka akan melakukannya di masa depan dan terkadang merek lain datang untuk memeriksa dan bahkan meniru apa yang telah dilakukan van. Di penghujung acara dilakukan pengundian bagi masyarakat yang hadir dan semua terlihat senang dan bersemangat, baik yang datang, yang membeli, dan yang membuat acara. Suasananya asik dan acaranya sukses

I was invited to attend Vans event which was held at the Atmos store in Pondok Indah 2.

As I always conclude, Vans always makes very good event, classy, grand, this time they are holding the  South East Asia Tour event with Mr Sabotage, who is collaborating this time. and what's crazy is, it's not just a shoe collabs, it's the whole fit look!

I arrived a little late  cause i had to attend a meeting and when I arrived, I didn't know that the event had just started.

 The event was very busy and looked exciting, where we could mingle / meet & greet with Mark Ong and see the collaboration collection display.  Guests are served drinks at the center of the store, open bar , sponsor by jameson. theres Dj that  set the mood for guest that came can minggle and get comfortable.  Guest can try on clothes from the collections. There are  area too that you can customize shoes available on that day. people who bought the shoes can add SBTG eyelit designs, hand pressed aluminum to the shoes by the SBTG team. 

I saw  many SBTG supporters / fans, sneaker enthusiasts + collectors and those involved in the industry came  and support to celebrate the event. As the afternoon progresses towards night, people get busier and people buy things, ask for autographs on shoes and photos together and i see Mark Ong is happy to please the crowd who came for his collaboration with Vans.

i think its cool and had a cool vibe. I am always amazed by Vans Indonesia, they always make events that are not just gimmicks / fake  for photos, People who had seen or come to a Vans event, always be amazed and want to always be there to support and see their progress and what they will do in the future brand and sometimes other brand came to check and even copy what vans had done.

At the end of the event, there was a raffle for the people who attended and everyone looked happy and excited, those who came, those who bought and those who made the event. The vibe was cool and the event was a success.
