Continue Sharpening my raw concept, the theme I want to play is the AIR-MAIL theme, the word AIR in the mail is very interesting, that's why the theme I want to use for the third one is the word AIR MAIL!

This is a raw concept that I poured from a brain storm into a sketch that can be understood.

Another good SURPRISE !!!!

a mail came true once again from Portland Oregon. Aaron Henkin aka MarsYard Overshoe send me another package with mystery box surprise.i dont know what are inside. but i know its gonna be crazy and loving it !.

weve been sending each other mystery box and i think its a cool culture were building. we do this to keep our creativity alive . as i open it, there were alot of cool stuff and i think all the times are amazing. specially the Tshirt and the Zine from his Art Instalation..

Meneruskan What If i ever design , bilamana kemarin kita liat tema " Love Aff -AIR "

kali ini kita ganti subjeck romantis ke kekuatan. "ENERGY ". sebagai brand sport., Nike sangat simbiosis dengan kata tersebut, dan saya plesetkan menjadi "AIR-NERGY " dengan concept sticker bomb lagi. huruf "E " kita tutup dengan sticker bertema "AIR / UDARA ".

tenaga Udara sangat keren dimana eco friendly dan tidak mengeluarkan carbon yang banyak untuk menjadikan electricity.

Ini adalah beberapa photo behind the scene cara saya being creative mengeluarkan concept art tersebut. membikin font AIR dengan tema Udara dan energy, dan membuat keleuruhan tema dengan back ground dll.

Continuing the "What If i ever design ", Yesterday we saw the theme "Love Aff -AIR".

This time we change the romantic subject to strength. and found "ENERGY".

As a sports brand, Nike is very symbiotic with that word, and I put a twist in that word and turn it into "AIR-NERGY" with another sticker bomb concept as the theme. We cover the letter "E" cause it can sound like AIR with a design sticker theme.

Air power is very strong and cool because it is eco friendly and doesn't emit a lot of carbon to make electricity, you just need a mover and generator to generate it. Here are some behind the scene photos of how I was being creative in producing the concept art. Create an "AIR " font with an Air and pressure theme, and brainstorming + create the whole theme with rough concept background etc.

Hari terakhir Jakarta Sneakers Day 2024, di Hari minggu ini terlihat vibenya sangat berbeda.

selama dua hari kemarin ada faktor alam alias ujan. selama di hari minggu, cucah sangat cerah dan menurut saya merubah persepsi membuat orang jadi lebih positive dan mau bergerak.

kalai kalian liat photo2 di dua hari kemarin, traffic terlihat banyak, tetapi tidalk sebanyak di hari minggu. seperti di kali 8 , orang yang hadir di acara tersebut. Banyak sekali acara- acara activasi dan terlihat seru sekali di mana orang yang hadir ikut-ikutan bidding dan jadi makin seru. biasa juga di akhir hari, banyak deal discount yang menawan dan mengiurkan membuat sepatu impian bisa under retail or harga miring.

karena sangat ramai, setiap saya lewatin gang, acrea gang tertutup dengan banyak orang. Untung kemarin - kemarin saya sudah photo banyak ,seperti produk dan booth. karena kalo saya kerjain di hari minggu akan susah. jadi di hari ketiga saya lebih focus ke vibe sama crowd.

Jujur, ada waktu selama dua hari, saya agak sedikit negative berpikir bahwa saya kira sneaker culture sudah slow down, tetapu di JSD hari terakhir menemukan authusiasme masih besar,

jadi cuma karena factor X , hujan besar, hari pertama dan kedua terlihat tidak seramai semustinya.

Saya mau berterima kasih sekali lagi kepada Andre , Dimas , Alex dan team JSD sudah mengasih saya access untuk bisa photo2 di 3 hari kemarin. acara seru dan fun.

The last day of Jakarta Sneakers Day 2024, this Sunday looks like the vibe is very different.

For the past two days there have been natural factors, aka rain. During Sundays, the weather is very bright and I think changing perceptions makes people more positive and willing to move.

If you look at the photos from the last two days, the traffic looks a lot, but not as much as on Sunday. as in times 8 , the people present at the event. There were lots of activation events and they looked really exciting where people who attended took part in the bidding and it became even more exciting. Usually at the end of the day, there are lots of interesting and attractive discount deals so that your dream shoes can be sold at under retail or at low prices.

because it was very busy, fortunately yesterday I took lots of photos, such as products and booths. because if I work on Sundays it will be difficult. So on the third day I focused more on the vibe and crowd.

Honestly, there was a time for two days, I was a little negative thinking that I thought sneaker culture was slowing down, but on the last day of JSD I found enthusiasm was still great,

So just because of the X factor, heavy rain, the first and second days didn't seem as busy as they should be.

I want to thank Andre, Dimas, Alex and the JSD team once again for giving me access to take photos in the past 3 days. exciting and fun event.

Meneruskan Hari kedua di Jakarta Sneakers Day, mulai dengan ujan agak deras yang tidak berenti sampai sore, tetapi orang - orang sangat anthusias untuk coba dateng meramaikan acara tersebut.

buat brand yang hadir mengisi sebagai tenant, mereka mengadakan activation gila gilaan raffle berturut turut, auction , free gift dan lain. acaranya seru deh di hari Sabtu. seling raffle dll, ada juga talk show dan music hiphop dan dj yang menghibur orang - orang yang hadir . semakin sore acara semakin ramai

Continuing the second day of Jakarta Sneakers Day, it started with quite slow with heavy rain which didn't stop until the afternoon, but people were very enthusiastic about trying to come and enliven the event.

For the brands that were present to fill in as tenants, held crazy activations each hours, consecutive raffles, auctions, free gifts and so on. the event were exciting on Saturday.

interspersed with raffle etc., there were also talk shows and hip-hop music and DJs who entertained the people who attended. As the evening progresses, the event gets busier and more fun

Seperti Followers Iam-Ran sudah tau , Jakarta Sneakers Day (JSD ) adalah event yang harus di datengin untuk melihat perkembangan sneaker scene dan skena culturenya.

Acara di adakan di Jakarta Conventional Central (JCC) di tengah tengah ibu kota Jakarta.

Tahun ini saya di undang untuk meliput 3 hari acara tersebut dan ini adalah documentari hari pertama di sana.

Saya hadir di jam 1an siang , di hari jumat setelah sholat jumat saya langsukg ke JCC. menurut saya saya datang kepagian, dan bisa di bilang acara sudah mulai dan traffic bisa saya anggap medium belom full capacity, karena orang masih sibuk dengan kerja dan lain, tetapi saya memang plan untuk hadir lebih pagi untuk mengambil stock photo supaya bilamana ramai, saya akan sangat susah, ketutup untuk photo barang- barang tersebut dikarenakan orang akan ada transaksi dan coba menawar dll.

Siang ke Anjak Sore, ada hujan besar yang membuat saya pikir orang bisa berpikir "apa saya datang besok saja ", tetapi di jam 6 -7 sore ke malem orang mulai hadir dan membuat acara seru karena terlihat orang sangat anthusias mensupport acara ini.

Banyak anak2 Sneakers hadir buat networking dan liat acara dan apa yang bisa di offer, brand juga menjual product stock mereka dengan harga terjangkau dan bisa di biang di bawah rata rata. acara sangat seru menurut saya , banyak activasi seperti lelang , raffle dan ada gimic gimic lain juga untuk menghibur acara di hari pertama , dan music selalu ada , seperti DJ mengeluarkan lagu lagu asik buat teman teman yang datang.

Selagi saya research , banyak juga brand local producer sepatu ikut menghadiri dan buka booth mereka untuk menunjukan sepatu product mereka dengan technology dan design yang menawan. Brand Luar Seperti Atmos dan Vans, juga hadir buka booth besar untuk mengeluarkan stock mereka yang saya kira bisa juga over stock di gudang mereka. Ada beberapa tenant baju dan accessories juga ikut menyertai JSD tahu ini, seperti Locus, DRX, Cosmonout dan banyak lagi. saya juga tanya ke para tenant menurut mereka seperti apa kira-kira, jawaban mereka ada yang pesimis tetapi kebanyakan sangat optimis dan mengharapkan sneaker scene di Jakarta berkembang dan membuat Culture Sneakers ini tetap dan bukan cuma trand yang datang dan pergi. tetapi ada beberapa yang menyeletuk dan cerita , memang agak lemah beberapa tahun ini karena brand luar masuk dan membanjiri market kita dan di global juga agak lemah marketnya, jadi buat para reseller agak berpikir dua kali,tetapi terlihat ada aja orang masih intrested untuk membeli, memang tidak seperti dulu yang sangat mengejar era hype. Saya terus bertanya "brand yang kuat kira2 apa tahun ini " jawaban yang sangat serempak saya dapatkan adalan "On Cloud Running ". pasaran Reselling masing tinggi dibandingkan kepada giant brand yang kita kenal semua. Salah satu trand yang terlihat sangat bagus di dalam sales tahun ini adalah sepatu performance tech for running, seperti Nike Alpha , Adidas adios 3 dan yang mirip2 di brand lain , seperti product hokka dan asics. ini dikarenakan Indonesia lagi dalam trand running + marathon

evolusi sepatu sangat terlihat function sekarang di anggap dan tidak cuma lifestyle.

selagi acara seru berjalan saya berputar untuk melihat technology apa yang bisa di kembangkan di sepatu dll, seperti brand ortus eight - produksi locak sudah mendevelop sepatu carbon plate untuk market indonesia dan ada juga brand baju DRX yang menempelkan chip di baju jersey bola untuk dijadikan commodity di gitial era sekarang ini.

acara sangat seru dan sayang kalau kalian tidak daeng untuk check.

As Iam-Ran's followers already know, Jakarta Sneakers Day (JSD) is an event that must be attended to see the development of the sneaker scene and its culture scene.

The event was held at the Jakarta Conventional Central (JCC) in the middle of the capital city of Jakarta.

This year I was invited to cover the 3 day event and this is a documentary of the first day there.

I was there at 1pm, on Friday after Friday prayers I went straight to the JCC. In my opinion, I came early in the morning, and you could say the event had already started and I could assume that the traffic was not yet at full capacity, because people were still busy with work and other things, but I did plan to be there early to take stock photos so that if it was busy, I would It's very difficult, it's difficult to take photos of the items because people will be making transactions and trying to bargain, etc.

Afternoon to Afternoon, there was heavy rain which made me think people might think "should I just come tomorrow", but from 6-7pm to evening people started to show up and make it an exciting event because it looked like people were very enthusiastic about supporting this event.

Many Sneakers kids are there to network and see the event and what can be offered, brands also sell their stock products at affordable prices and can be priced below average. In my opinion, the event was very exciting, there were lots of activities such as auctions, raffles and other gimmicks to entertain the event on the first day, and there was always music, such as the DJ releasing cool songs for the friends who came.

While I was researching, many local brand shoe producers also attended and opened their booths to show their shoe products with attractive technology and designs. Foreign brands such as Atmos and Vans, were also present and opened large booths to release their stock which I thought could also be over stock in their warehouse. There are several clothing and accessories tenants who also join JSD, such as Locus, DRX, Cosmonout and many more. I also asked the tenants what they thought it would be like, some of their answers were pessimistic but most were very optimistic and hoped that the sneaker scene in Jakarta would develop and make this Sneakers Culture permanent and not just a trend that came and went. but there are some who talk and tell stories, it's been a bit weak in recent years because foreign brands have entered and flooded our market and globally the market is also quite weak, so resellers are thinking twice, but it seems like there are people who are still interested in buying, indeed not like before which really chased the hype era. I kept asking "what are the strong brands this year?" The answer I got in unison was "On Cloud Running". The reselling market is higher compared to the giant brands that we all know. One trend that looks very good in sales this year is performance tech shoes for running, such as the Nike Alpha, Adidas Adios 3 and similar ones in other brands, such as Hokka and Asics products. This is because Indonesia is currently in the running + marathon trend

The evolution of shoes is very visible, function is now considered and not just lifestyle.

While the exciting event was going on, I turned around to see what technology could be developed in shoes, etc., such as the Ortus Eight brand - Locak Production has developed carbon plate shoes for the Indonesian market and there is also a DRX clothing brand that attaches chips to football jerseys to be made into commodities in digital era today.

The event is very exciting and it would be a shame if you didn't come to check it out.

Karena saya punya waktu luang, biasanya saya tidak ingin menyia-nyiakannya, jadi saya membuat konsep seni ini, di mana saya mendesain sesuatu untuk mengasah keterampilan dan kreativitas Illustrator saya. Jika Anda pengikut Saya, saya biasanya memposting sesuatu artwork di IG / media sosial.

Kali ini saya membuat konsep Nike Activation Graphic.

Temanya adalah "Nike Air "dengan sentuhan elegan dan berkelas dengan perpaduan Street. Seperti yang selalu saya lihat, Nike selalu kreatif dan mendobrak batasan dalam apa yang mereka lakukan, dan semua yang mereka lakukan, mereka desain dengan pemikiran yang sangat baik.

jadi saya mencoba menangkapnya dan menafsirkannya dari desain & kreativitas saya.

Setiap hari Air Max Day ,selalu Nike mempunyai tema.

dan saya melakukan brainstorming dan menghasilkan konsep Air,

Aku meneliti kata apa yang ada kata "AIR" di dalamnya, dan dari situ yang paling menarik perhatianku adalah "AFFAIR" menurut ku, jadi saya bermain dengan konsep itu dan keluarlah tema " LOVE AFF-AIR " . terdengar seperti "LOVE OF AIR",

ada concept yang lalu aku menganggap dan coba juga dimana LOVERS bisa di mainkan suraranya juga sebagai sebuah kata, selain lovers di ubahnya menjadi "LOVE-AIR"

Saya bermain dengan font kali ini dan lebih sedikit grafis, karena saya tahu saya tidak pandai menggunakan design font dan ingin menantang diri menggunakan font tulisan tangan sebagai dasar, kemudian mendesain ulang + menambahkan sesuatu ke dalam campuran untuk hasilnya.

karena Nike berorientasi pada anak muda, saya juga bermain dengan konsep jalanan.

Jadi aaya datang dengan konsep elegan namun memberontak dengan mix Street, yaitu ketika saya keluar dengan sticker bombing untuk bagian " AIR " pada Font yang elegan,

dan font script untuk mewakili keanggunannya.

As I have spare time , usually i dont want to waste it, so i come up with this concept art, where i design things to sharpen my Illustrator skills and creativity. if ur a follower of Me, i usually post things on IG / social media.

This time i create a concept Nike Activation Graphic.

the theme is Nike Air with a twist of elegent and classiness with a mix of street.as i always see Nike always being creative and pushing bounderies in what they do, and everything they do, they design.

so i try to capture that and interpret them from my on design & creativity.

each air max day always have a theme.and i did brainstorm and come out with the concept of Air,

i research what words that have the word " air " iin it, and from then the one that caught my eye the most is " AFFAIR ", so i play with that concept and come out with " LOVE AFF -AIR " . sound like " LOVE OF AIR ", and then i did consider LOVERS as a word , but change it to "LOVE-AIR "

i play with font this time and less graphic, cause i know im not good with it and want to challange that using hand writting font as base and then re design them and adding things to the mix for the outcome.

as Nike are youth oriented, i play with the concept of street too, in the mix.

i came with the concept of elegent but rebeled by the street, that when i come out with sticker bombing for the " AIR " part on an elegent Font, and the script font to represent its elegent.
